  • How Queen Elizabeth II encouraged slavery, Biafran war and underdevelopment in Nigeria.

How Queen Elizabeth II encouraged slavery, Biafran war and underdevelopment in Nigeria.

As the world marks the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II of England after reigning for 70 years aged 96 and welcome his son, King Charles III, I will like to remind your how Britain and the Queen encouraged the slavery of Africans. How they kidnapped them and transported them to their plantations and how they moved from house to house burning and raping and enslaving.

Need I remind you that I will also tell you how the British started slavery, underdeveloped Nigeria and ignited civil war in the country.

If you are interested in reading all these and more, you will be tired of waiting because I won’t tell you lies.

The truth is when the Whites arrived on our soil, they didn’t go hinterland to capture slaves rather it was our forefathers who went around capturing their brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and relatives and selling them to the white merchants.

For what? For mirrors, salts, combs and many worthless items.

So, let’s blame our forefathers before blaming somebody’s forefathers for atrocities and acts of betrayals committed against kindred.

Let’s cancel our forefathers and foremothers for being greedy and callous and let call them out for conniving with outside enemies against kiths and kins.

Two, slavery in Africa did not start with the arrival of the oyinbos, Africans have been enslaving one another, long before their arrival.

Does it means since they didn’t start it, they are absolve of all crimes? No but let’s deal with ourselves first before dealing with one. Yoruba will say, ‘e jékí álé eléyóró, kátó fàbò fún adíe,‘ meaning let’s deal with lice first before we come and address the bird.

Furthermore, some Nigerians are accusing the dead Queen of causing the Biafran war and underdevelopment in the country. For Pete sake! The Nigerian civil war called Biafran war was precipitated by January 15 bloody coup.

Did English benefited from it? Yes, through weapons selling. Not just only Britain, but also France, USA and many big economics. Who should we now blame? Must we blamed anybody? If you must blamed then we should blame our greedy leaders for senseless war(s) and let me tell you that the longest war in the world was Kiriji war which lasted for 16 years among the Yoruba people of South western Nigeria. Was the imperial family and her government also responsible for that?

Moreover, about underdevelopment, why do you like to play victim’s card? For crying out loud, Nigeria is not the only country that was colonised. USA, Israel, India, South Africa, Singapore, UAE and many other developed countries are former British colonies. Therefore the story don’t gel at all.

What should now do? Let’s deal with the log in our eyes before asking about the speck in neighbor’s eyes and let’s roll over our sleeves for true Nigerian project.

Fortitude to the family to bear the loss.

    God saves the King.

    God blesses Nigeria.

Late Queen Elizabeth II of England
  • ObiDients, ObiDiots and ObiTuary.

    ObiDients, ObiDiots and ObiTuary.

I am ObiDient but not unreasonable, egoistic and utopian.

May 2022, some days leading to People Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Primaries, Mr Peter Obi defected from PDP as one of its presidential aspirants alleging that the moneybags have hijacked the processes leading to the main opposition selection of its standard bearer in the 2023 Nigeria General Election. A few days after, he announced on his verified Twitter handle that he is now of Labour Party (LP). A few weeks later, he won his new party’s presidential primaries unopposed.

The emergency of Peter Obi took on a twitterstorm. The netizens who are yawning for a break from the two main political parties who have but wrecked untold miseries on Nigerians took his emergence as their project hence they nicknamed themselves ObiDients.

Before we know what is happening, the opponents mainly of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate camp, Babatunde Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) codely tagged BATists started making jest of the ObiDients telling them they have no structure to win a presidential election in the country. Soon the jestings denigrated into personal insults, mockeries, threats to lives and properties, arguments and counterarguments among ObiDients and BATists. Occasionally drawn into the battle are PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s camp known as Atikulates.

The ObiDient called the BATists, agbadoist. BATists replied by calling them ObiDiots. They called them thieving structures, they said they are structureless. They said anybody who isn’t ObiDient is a national enemy and tribalistic, they replied that Peter Obi is a regional candidate and that they will announce the obituary of their ambition next February at the presidential poll bla bla bla.

Now, let’s get down to business. Who are the real ObiDients, ObiDiots and whose ambition’s obituary will be announced next year? First of all, as I have said, I am ObiDient but not irrational, egoistic and unrealistic like many of my fellow ObiDient especially of Igbo extraction who see anyone not supporting Peter Obi as tribalistic. Two, why am I ObiDient? I am ObiDient based on fairness and equality. Since the end of the 1963 Nigeria civil war, nobody of Igbo descent has ever held the number one seat in the country despite having qualified personalities from that region and tribe. The Gentleman agreement of power rotation between North and South has always been between majority Northern Hausa-Fulanis Muslim and majority Yorubas Christian down south. I believe it’s the turn of our Igbo brothers and sisters. Àwon lókàn.*

Still, on fairness and equality, the 2023 General Election presents Nigerians with the choice of picking either a devourer, an armed robber, or a petty thief but I will leave you to decide who is the former, the middle and the latter.

Three, will Obi win? I doubt it. Political parties and political alliances matter in Nigeria’s kind of politics. But why are you still voting for him? I am voting for him because I will not use my hands to endorse evil. Obi is not a messiah but Peter is better. Nevertheless, I believe in miracles.

Nevertheless, who are the ObiDients people? I believed ObiDients are people who believe in the presidential ambition of Mr. Peter Obi and are doing everything within the ambit of the law to make sure that that dream comes to pass without threatening any BATist or Atikulate. I have four people who are very close to me that are registered members of PDP and APC.

A real ObiDient is a person that believes in the freedom of speech, choice, and association of every Nigerian and will make sure that those rights are upheld irrespective of the person’s tribe, religion, and political leaning. Gbogbo wa o le sun la kori sibi kanna**.

If you believe otherwise as a Peter Obi’s supporter, then you are an ObiDiot. For example, if you as an Igbo believe that anyone not supporting Peter Obi is tribalistic, then you are an ObiDiot. Are all Igbos ObiDient? Are all Yorubas, BATists and are all Hausa-Fulanis, Atikulates?

L-R: Peter Obi of LP, Babatunde Ahmed Tinubu of APC and Atiku Abubakar of PDP.

If you are threatening anybody from opposing camps either on or offline, you are ObiDiot.

If you believe Obi is the messiah and he no dey give shishi***, you are an imperial ObiDiot. Obi is no messiah neither is he a devourer nor an armed robber. 😃😃😃

If you break any ship that has been of any help to you in past, be it relationSHIP, courtSHIP, mentorSHIP, parentSHIP, memberSHIP, siblingSHIP, etc., because of Peter Obi (or any politician), you are a full-blown ObiDiot. The eventual losers are not losing anything per se.

Lastly, anyone [the politicians and willing citizens] who they use you as a thug, money sharer, e-bandit, fake new distributor, e-terrorist, election disrupter, vandals, rigger, etc., during this election period, they will have an obituary of their ambitions on that day in Jesus name and may God announces the obituary of ambition of anyone who plans to subject us to further miseries in Jesus name. Amen.

    Thanks for reading.

    * it is their turn. ** All of us can not sleep and put heads in the same direction meaning we can’t think alike. *** Obi don’t give anybody money to support him.

  • 7 Life Lessons from 2021/22 English Premier League Season.

7 Life Lessons from 2021/22 English Premier League Season.

For every English Premier League season since the 19/20 season, I have been writing about the lessons we can derive from the season at the end of the season. Now, these are the lessons from 2021/22 season:

    1. Make sure you are winning somewhere.

To start with, EPL is the best football league in the world. No league comes close.

Congratulations to Manchester City for being the champions again after crashing out of UCL meaning if you are not a world champion at least be a local champion. Champ na champ. Make sure you are winning somewhere.

    2. Count your blessing, name them one by one.

A carabao and FA trophies ain’t a bad season for Liverpool and there is still the possibility of another one on Saturday.

Dear, despite the recent loss, think about the recent wins and thank God.

    3. Strike the iron while it’s still hot.

The season would have completely gone bad for Chelsea had they not won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA World Club Cup trophies before key injuries, sanctions, divorce and uncertainty about the club sale. In between congrats to Mason mount for winning the Chelsea player of the year 🏅 and good luck to Antonio Rudiger in his next endeavor.

    5. Big names are not equivalent to good outcomes.

Manchester United, Ole, Ralf (teacher of Kloop and Tuchel 😄😄😄), C. Ronald, etc.

    Where did it end?

    6th Avenue.

    Zero goal difference.

    6. It’s not over until the final whistle blows.

Leeds United is the favourite to relegate but a last-minute goal saves the day. Same thing with Manchester City who comes back from a 2-goals deficit to win 3 – 2 at the final whistle.

It is still not over for you as long as the breath of God is in you.

    7. God can direct you in every area of your life.

    This lesson is from Italy.

When AC Milan signed Olivier Giroud, at his interview, he was asked why did he come to Milan after leaving Chelsea, he replied, ‘God told me to come to Milan.’
Today, he is a Seria A winner.

Holy Spirit doesn’t only direct in the spiritual affair, He is also interested in our physical affairs.

    God’s Will is not enough

Thanks for reading, sharing and commenting.

  • #Gratitudechallenge – Thank You. 🤝❤️❤️

    #Gratitudechallenge – Thank You. 🤝❤️❤️

Today is the last day of 40-day #gratitudechallenge and it has been fantastic and fantabulous.

Thank You, Jehovah Nissi, for being the source of inspiration for this project.

Thank You for all my friends who have been here since March 2 and those that join enroute and those that will join later.

Thank You for the publication of A TEARLESS COURTSHIP, A-Z OF CONTENT CREATION and PATHS TO SEXUAL PURITY EBooks and the downloads therein.

  • The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Day 39 of 40 of #GratitudeChallenge. Thank you for praising the Lord with me.

The popular maxim called the benediction, that we used to say to close prayers hit me differently today.

For the avoidance of doubts, lemme cant it here again: the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with me now and forevermore.

Imagine this and see how God loves me.

The grace of my Lord Jesus Christ says that my past, present and future sins are all forgiven. That I should go and sin no more.

Furthermore, the love of God denotes my inability to sin before the redemptive arms of grace

While the fellowship of the Holy Spirit guaranteed my continuous and perpetual connection to the Triune God; nothing shall seperate me from the love of Christ.

All these realization make to say thank you Lord.

For the saving grace, be thou glorified.

For Your preserving love, hallowed be thy Name.

And for the sweet communion, I exalt Your wonderful name.

    Hallelujah.

  • He Never Give Up on Me.

Another moment to praise the Lord in the ongoing #gratitudechallenge.

Polycarp, the disciple of John the beloved was asked to denounce Jesus after 80 years of faithful service. He answered, ‘how can I denied Him, He has never done me harm even for once.’

Like Polycarp, I can said that God has never give up on even for a nanoseconds.

    His love is constant.

    His grace is abiding.

His mercy endures forever, new every morning.

    Great is Your faithfulness.

    Great is Your faithfulness.

    Hallelujah! Hossana!

  • Congratulations, He has done it again! 🤱

    On #Gratitudechallenge for today.

I received another good news from my dad!

    What is the good news?

We have an addition to the family ❤️❤️❤️

And it’s an addition of a new baby boy for my brother 🤱🤱🤱 with ease.

Thank You Jesus for doing this! It can only be You!

    Hallelujah! Amen!

  • #GratitudeChallenge – Hope of the future.

#GratitudeChallenge – Hope of the future.

Bible said, ‘Christ in me, the hope of glory.’

God does not only care in the past or now but He is my only hope of a brighter tomorrow.

Why should I trust Him? I trust Him because He can never fail.

    Hallelujah

  • #GratitudeChallenge – Happy Birthday, My Sister.

My immediate elder sister clocked another year today.

Honestly, it had been year of blessing, blessing and more blessing.

So I am acknowledging the grace of God over her life, her daughter and her husband.

Thank you our Maker for the provision, protection, promotion and preservation of my blood sister.

    Hallelujah!

Today’s task for you: please help me to wish my sister happy birthday in the comment section.

  • #GratitudeChallenge – Guarantor of the present.

#GratitudeChallenge – Guarantor of the present.

You are humbly welcome to another episode of #gratitudechallenge.

The psalmist said in one of the psalm that who did I have if not You. Absolutely like David has nobody except Jehovah, I too, have nobody save the Almighty King of power who not took care of me in age past but is the guarantor of today.

Since I was born, supernaturally God has been God and till now I am not forsaken or abandoned.

He is the One that hold today for telling me not to fear because He got it all covers for me.

The today of my marriage is fantastic.

The today of my ministry is blossoming.

The today of everything that concern me is bright because God promises it for me.

Alatiselehin mi (my backbone, my support) thank You for the promise of today.
