    Before going to today Blogmas day 7, I want to tell you I love you.

    We all wish for something?

    Something good and newsworthy?

    Something that bring joy and happiness!

    Whether during Christmas or not!

    But this Christmas, here are my wishlist

    • That every family desiring a child should receive good report of pregnancy this season.
    • That people will truly know the imports and impacts of Christmas and not just taking as a yearly ceremony.
    • That every soul who is hungry has something to eat.
    • That every soul who is homeless has an abode to lay his/her head.
    • That whosoever is naked will have clothes to cover the nakedness.
    • That peace of God should reign in all nations.
    • That during this Christmas, righteousness will be returned to our government.
    • And that peace in our homes.

    Those are my wishes for this Christmas!

    These activities are the ones that entrenched brotherliness, complementation, love, giving, joy, patience and over worthy virtues.

    1. Worship

    Isn’t Christmas about celebrating Jesus Christ?

    What’s celebration without worship?

    Dear, celebrating Jesus is worshipping Him.

    How do you worship?

    Worship Him by striving to know Him more this season.

    Worship by not forsaking the gathering of the brethren. Nothing is more joyful and fun-filled than being in the presence of God with fellow believers in singing, shouting and merry making.

    Also worship Him by sharing your gifts to the less privileged.

    2. Visitation.

    Yes, visitation.

    This time shouldn’t be about you and your immediate family alone. It is also a period to spread the love and essence of Christmas to those in

    1. Hospital
    2. Prison
    3. Home for Aged.
    4. Long seen friends or family member (s).
    5. Struggling family
    6. Etc.

    I bet it with you, you will enjoy the moment of offering hope, joy, reconcilation and life to someone.

    3. Picnic.

    You have toiled all through the year, isn’t it?

    I bet, it is.

    Why don’t you pack some baskets of foods and fruits with your family to a beach, open lawn, forest camp, backyard, etc., just to relax and de-stress.

    To make it memorable, why can’t you go with another like-minded individuals?

    I assure you, you will enjoy the show.

    4. Family photography.

    Take family photographic album to see how far you have gone.

    See how far you have progressed.

    And after checking through, praise the Lord for both small and big wins.

    Also make sure you visit a studio to take a family picture this Christmas.

    5. Reflect and Pray.

    Think about what Yahweh has done for you this year and pray the prayer of thanksgivings.

    Also commit the incoming year into the Almighty hands.

    Why is Christmas called Xmas?

    Welcome to day 5 of 2021 Blogmas. I hope you are have a blast?

    Today, I will be speaking on the topic why is Christmas also called Xmas?

    Many Christians have alleged secular media of trying to erase Christ from Christmas by using Xmas instead of Christmas.

    There is nothing farther from truth as nobody can remove Christ’s name from Christmas.

    The truth is, Xmas is a common abbreviation of the word Christmas which originated as handwriting abbreviations.

    The “X” comes from the Greek letter Chi, which is the first letter of the Greek word Christós (Greek: Χριστός), which became Christ in English. The suffix -mas is from the Old English word for Mass which means celebration.

    Its uses date back to 19th century.

    So rest, it is still the same Christmas by writing Xmas but don’t pronounce it as ex-mas.

    Have you ever thought of it that what If there were no Christmas?

    What of if there is no Christmas? Of course, we know that Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ – The Anointed One but what of if…?

    With that thought, I welcome you to day 4/20 of 2021 Blogmas titled “What If there were no Christmas?.

    Hmmmm! To be candid, it is unimaginable because it will be catastrophic! It is damnable!

    Firstly, if there was no Christmas, there is no death on the cross at Calvary and if there is shedding of blood, then our sins remain unremitted.

    Two, since death cannot occur without birth and there can’t be ressurrection without death. Therefore, if there is no Christmas, there is no salvation and then we are doomed.

    If there is no Christmas as the first event in the God’s eternal plan of human deliverance from sin and self, then there won’t be outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. We will then be comfortless, fearful, homeless,powerless and leaderless. Paul said, ‘God forbids.’

    If there is no Christmas, there will be no Church.

    If there is no Christmas, there will be no spiritual gifts for our edification.

    If there is no Christmas, there will be no New Testament

    Lastly, if there is no Christmas, our hope is then of this Earth, which mean we are most miserable of men.

    But thanks Yahweh in the highest for the gift of Christmas – the birth of Christ.

    Hallelujah!!!!

  • Why Christians celebrate Christmas.

    It’s another wonderful moment again on the journey highlighting the greatness of Christmas 🎄.

    Today is blogmas day 3 and I wish to appreciate you for your likings, comments and followings. It’s fantabulous!

    Today, I will be writing on to why we Christians keep Christmas despite not a single mention in the Bible commanding its celebration.

    Firstly, who is a Christian? Simply put, a Christian is any person who has accepted Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and Savior.

    Furthermore, what is Christmas? Christmas is a combination of two Greek terms; Christ which means Anointed One and Mass which means Celebration. Therefore Christmas is the celebration of the Anointed One – Jesus.

    Because Jesus our Lord and Savior is the Anointed One, that is one of the reasons we celebrated Him.

    Why was Jesus born in the first instance? Jesus was purposely born to die for our sins for the redemption of our souls. Somebody dying in your place deserves commendations and worship which we abundantly engaged in, during Christmastime.

    Thirdly reason, we celebrate Christmas is because it is a fulfilment of prophecies prophesied in the Name of Lord God Almighty and we are happy that faithful is He that promised and that if He did not fail then, He can’t fail now.

    Fourthly, we are celebrating God’s kind of love. Agape, unblemished, kind love because God practically lose nothing if we perish but He won’t want that for us because He loves us even when we are still sinners.

    The second part of this fourth reason is that if God loves us, we too ought to love our neighbours and our of the best time to do so is now.

    But, we are not told in the Bible to observe Christmas?🤷🤷

    Are we told not to commemorate it in the Bible?

    Christmas has its origin in pagan practices because it is the day Romans celebrate their unconquered sun so we shouldn’t do it?

    Tell me a day that was created by Satan? I bet you none. God created everything including the days of the weeks and declared it blessed and good.


    And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs and tokens [of God’s provident care], and [to mark] seasons, days, and years,
    And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it completely. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.

    What God has declared good and approving cannot be made bad and disapproving by Satan or any man.

    Now, whose report will you believe?

    In addition, like the days of the week and months of the year which the pagan world has dedicated to one false god or the another, so have they attached those wannabe gods to gold, silver, wood, soil, etc, which ain’t theirs in the first instance. Therefore, when we are celebrating Christmas, we are using what belongs to God to worship God. December 25th is inclusive.

    Continuing, even the modern world has different days to celebrate and create awareness about different incurable diseases yet some of us deem it bad to dedicate a day to celebrate and create awareness about Christ – Our Healer.

    Jesus is the reason for the season.

    Lastly, Christians celebrate Christmas because it is a daily affair.

    To a true Christian, Noel is not a one day affairs because once we did anything that glorify God in any day of month, we are celebrating the Anointed one – Jesus.

  • 5 Hymns for your Christmas.

    Hiiii, brothers and sisters.

    Thanks for the follows, likes and comments and welcome to the second day of my 2021 Blogmas.

    Today I will be writing on 5 Christmas Hymns that can be sung for the season.

    Caveat, my chosen hymns may not be ‘christmastic’ in nature.

    That gotten, let’s go

    1.Great is Thy faithfulness.

    I choose this hymn first because if not the great faithfulness of God, why will Jesus came to this world to die. Ponder of the first verse of the song.

    Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
    there is no shadow of turning with thee.
    Thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not;
    as thou hast been, thou forever wilt be.
    Refrain:
    Great is thy faithfulness!
    Great is thy faithfulness!
    Morning by morning new mercies I see;
    all I have needed thy hand hath provided.
    Great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

    2. Joy to the world! The Lord has come!

    This is an evergreen Christmas hymn but have we ever pauses to think on the hymn.

    What brings the joy? The Lord’s faithfulness.

    Who brings the joy? Our Lord God.

    We should rejoice and be merry because Christ was born.

    The second and third verses of the hymn says

    2. Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
    Let men their songs employ,
    while fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains,
    repeat the sounding joy,
    repeat the sounding joy,
    repeat, repeat the sounding joy.


    3. No more let sins and sorrows grow
    nor thorns infest the ground;
    he comes to make his blessings flow
    far as the curse is found,
    far as the curse is found,
    far as, far as the curse is found.

    3. The First Noel The Angel Did Say.

    This is a song of humility because the first Noel the angel did say was to a group of shepherds.

    The first Noel the angel did say
    was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay;
    in fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
    on a cold winter’s night that was so deep.
    Refrain:
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
    born is the King of Israel.

    The second and third stanzas of the hymn tells about the inclusivity of the Gospel for all. The wise and rich men also came.

    2. They looked up and saw a star
    shining in the east, beyond them far;
    and to the earth it gave great light,
    and so it continued both day and night.


    3 And by the light of that same star
    three Wise Men came from country far;
    to seek for a king was their intent,
    and to follow the star wherever it went.

    4. Silent Night, Holy Night.

    This is also an evergreen classic of joy and celebration. Enjoy the lyrics

    round yon virgin mother and child.
    Holy Infant, so tender and mild,
    sleep in heavenly peace,
    sleep in heavenly peace.

    5. Hark! The Herald Angel Sing.

    Hark! the herald angels sing,
    “Glory to the newborn King:
    peace on earth, and mercy mild,
    God and sinners reconciled!”
    Joyful, all ye nations, rise,
    join the triumph of the skies;
    with th’angelic hosts proclaim,
    “Christ is born in Bethlehem!”

    Hark! the herald angels sing,
    “Glory to the newborn King”

    If angels did sing, it will be good of us to listen to the most melodious lyrics in the world.

    Delivery to all parts of Nigeria.

    6. Let all Mortals Flesh keep Silence.

    I promised 5 hymns but let’s enjoy this as a sober reflection of God great faithfulness that gave us Christ

    1 Let all mortal flesh keep silence,
    and with fear and trembling stand.
    Ponder nothing earthly minded,
    for with blessing in his hand
    Christ our God to earth descending
    comes, our homage to demand.


    2 King of kings, yet born of Mary,

    My Christmas Story.

    Welcome to day 1 of My Blogmas for 2021.

    Christmas is a special day throughout the world.

    It is celebrated every 25th of December in all countries except some Asian countries that celebrated theirs every 6th of January.

    No matter when and where you commemorates yours, what matters most is that the reason for the season which is Jesus Christ is kept in mind.

    Now my Christmas story.

    Like everyone out there aiming and planning for this year, Christmas is how I do prepare with my family – parents, siblings and church members.

    I could vividly remember my parents taking us to the family tailors to take measurements for either clothes for Christmas or New year festivities. We did this until all of us came of age to decide what we want.

    My Christmas story also involves feeding chickens in the cage for slaughtering during Christmastime and going to church on Christmas Eve.

    It was such a wondrous preparation but a dangerous story.

    A dangerous story because I don’t know the reason for the season.

    I am not born again. I don’t know Christ personally as my Lord and Saviour.

    I was just a wonderful hell bound churchgoer.

    But one day, in 2016, my story changed to a joyful narrative.

    I became born again. I accepted Him into my life and since I have been truly celebrating christmas.

    This is my Christmas story and may this be your story if it hasn’t been.
