    #GratitudeChallenge – God of the Ages Past.

    Everything we have, God gave us.

    Hmmmmm! Life can funny atimes because it is UNSCRIPTED. Anything can happened but we always pray that something good will happen.

    Going back the memory lane of my life, I can vividly said God has been taking care of me in all spheres of humanity.

    My parents are not rich but God provides for them to make life easy for my siblings and I.

    No moment of hunger except I am fasting.

    No period of clothelessness. Not that we have much then but the ones provided by God’s providence was wearable.

    No harassment from landlords. No time of homelessness because God took over our needs.

    What I am aiming at? I mean Yahweh in ages past, deserves all the praises, adorations, blessing, power for taking care for me.

    Almighty Jesus made it easy for me. I was never abandoned nor forsaken. He took care of me when I don’t even know.

    Hallelujah to the King of glory.

    I love you, Lord!

    Jesus came with many names and titles and each name and title is a recognizer of who He is and what He came for.

    Also, the numerous titles of Jesus shows that He indeed is the One worthy of my most highest praise because My King lived up to what He was called.

    Furthermore, seven of those names are highlighted below for Gratitude purpose:

    1. Wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24).

    Lord Jesus, thank you that true wisdom is found in a relationship with you. You are more precious than rubies and nothing I desire can compare with knowing you.

    2. Bridegroom (Isaiah 62:5, Luke 5:34),

    Lord, thank you that you call me to an intimate relationship with you and rejoice over me as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride.

    3. Son of Man (Luke 6:5).

    Lord, thank you that you are the representative Son of Man who suffered for me.

    4. Lord (Luke 6:2).

    Thank you, Lord, that you are the key that unlocks our understanding of the Old Testament.

    5. Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5–6).

    Thank you, Lord, that there is ‘one God and one mediator between God and human beings, Jesus Christ, himself human, who gave himself as a ransom for all.”

    6. Rock (Hebrews 9:14–15a).

    Lord, my rock, thank you that you satisfy my spiritual thirst. May I, through the Holy Spirit within me, bring the water of life to others.

    7. Great High Priest (Hebrews 4:14).

    Thank you, Lord, my Great High Priest who lives for ever, that you are able to save me completely. Thank you that you rose from the dead and live to intercede for me. Thank you that you are interceding for me right now.

    First of all, I wish to appreciate you for celebrating my mother-in-law yesterday for her birthday.

    Today I am grateful for my family – my father, mother and my siblings.

    Think about this axiom; GirlfriEND, BoyfriEND, FriEND but FamILY which mean I Love You.

    I bless the name of the Lord that I have parents who show me the way of Lord, in deeds and in words because I can say it adequately I learnt Bible from home.

    I will also not fail to appreciate the Most High for the opportunity of having siblings. My brothers and sisters are truly brethen.

    To start with, this woman of God is a woman helped by God.

    She is hard-working in her work and faithful in everything pertaining to the house of God.

    A loyal wife, a good mother, a loving sister, a consistent displinarian and a fantastic mother-in-love who took me as his first and only son.

    I am sorry I couldn’t write yesterday. Actually I was overwhelmed.

    Is it not here that I wrote why I am grateful to God for my country – Nigeria but right now I am dejected about happenings all over the countries.

    This young woman who is a dentist was shot during #KadunaTrainattack by terrorists wasting her life and many others in the train.

    Dr Chinelo was shot by terrorists enroute kaduna-abuja railways.

    I am dedicating this article to her and others who lost their lives in tragic incident.

    But nevertheless, I have this say; Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior because Nigeria will overcome.

    Thank you Jesus for everything You have done because with a ten thousand tongues, we couldn’t even appreciate You enough for the smallest thing.

    There is a popular song in my local church that goes thus:

    The Church is marching on,
    The Church is marching on,
    The gate of hell cannot prevail,
    The Church is marching on.

    Tell me who wouldn’t be happy to belong to God’s family on earth; a family that it universal, holy and one?

    Who wouldn’t be joyous that he or she is a perpetual member of the oldest organisation in the world. The Church* is more that 1500 years old.

    Why do I praise the owner of His Church for counting me worthy of being part of this indestructible family and serving therein?

    Why won’t I appreciate that I belong to the only family that will last the eternity because everything earthly will go but Church of Christ will be forever will Jesus. Hallelujah!

    So therefore, my Father, my God, thank You for Your blood- bought Church.

    Thank You for sustaining Your Church.

    Thank You for our leadership across denomination and nomenclatures.

    Hallelujah be unto His precious name for making us one in Him and adding to the Church daily those who are being saved.

    Thank You for the promise of the Church indestructibility because we are pretty sure that You can’t promised and not fulfilled.

    Glory for being the head of the Church! And for loving Her passionately!

    You are worthy of all the praises from all the people who called on Your mighty name from all nations, tongues and tribes!

    Hallelujah to the Most High!

    Do we Christians realised that our Father knows what we need before we even open our mouths to ask Him?

    Yes, He knows, He answers and ever grant me what I didn’t get to even ask Him. My brain is limited, His wisdom is limitless.

    For His glory and honour, He granted many prayer points.

    For some that I asked, He said that I should wait, He will do it but not now.

    For some prayers, My Almight father says No and told me to forget about it because like He told Paul, He also told me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you.’

    And for many more things that I don’t know and I don’t ask Him to do, He did. Why? Because He knows that doing it for me will bring glory and honour to His majestic Name.

    Therefore, I am praising my heavenly Father for this.

    I am praising Him for not forgetting that I am His masterpiece and He supplies all what His power and Awesomeness knows that will enrich my life physically and spiritually.

    Thank you, Jesus. Thank You, Almight. I love you Lord with this song of praise:

    There is a Yoruba proverb that says one rich man in the midst of six poor relatives is a poor man himself but thank God that is not the case with ours.

    Many of us are happily married now.

    Gainfully employed.

    Rightly connected

    Increasing numerically purposefully.

    And careerly succeeding.

    Hillsong in one of their songs sang thus, ‘my sin was great, but Your love was greater…‘ which makes me to remember the Parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21-35.

    We all know the story of how one servant failed to forgive his fellow servant of a meagre hundred denarii compared to the forgiveness of ten thousand talents received from their master to him.

    Now, let see the generosity of this unforgiving servant’ master; for this man to repay his Master, the total debts he owned, he will have to work every day of his life for 200,000 years translating to 60,000,000 working days, i.e., he was owning what he can never repay.

    What they owned:

    Ten thousand talents Vs One hundred denarii.

    Despite that, he was totally relieved of his debt. How much more has God been forgiving me of my iniquities?

    I couldn’t repay the debt of my sin even if I work for a ten trillion years but look at the magmonity, generosity and love of Christ to me on the Cross of Calvary.

    I didn’t deserve it because someway or the other, I used to behave like the unforgiving servant but His love and heart atoned for my sin.

    He is such a large-hearted forgiver. Hallelujah be unto His precious name. Amen

    His love was far greater than my sin, what can seperate me from His love and grace.

    Today’s closing song goes thus:
