    Today’s is day 8 of the 40 day #GratitudeChallenge. I welcome you to today’s episode

    Have you ever wondered about the divine provision of God for the many billions of us?

    Now, think about how this Sovereign God provides for billions of human, plants, animals and the tinniest microorganisms?

    Yet Bible said He cares for me more than He cares for the birds of the sky, the fish of the oceans and the grasses of the fields because Yahweh is a magnificent provider and excellent caterer.

    Consider the lilies, how they grow. They neither [wearily] toil nor spin nor weave; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory (his splendor and magnificence) was not arrayed like one of these.

    But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you, O you [people] of little faith?

    Luke 12:27 – 28
    (Amplified Bible).

    Yahweh is a magnificent provider and excellent caterer.

    God has been providing for me. Physically, I lack nothing good and spiritually there is daily renewal of  spiritual strength.

    Should I also mentioned the divine provision of my Helpmeet @vicpraise1010 ? It has been God all through.

    What about job? Nigeria as a country is a place rift with high number of unemployment but I can say it boldly in the power of the Lord that I haven’t been jobless for a day since I wrote my last paper in the uni.

    I haven’t gotten my desired job but still very grateful for the one that is the channel of God’s provision for me while believing Him for a better one.

    Knowledge and wisdom is part of Almighty provision which I won’t belittle.

    Furthermore, I won’t fail to acknowledge the provision of perfect health and healings as it is needed. By His stripes, I have been healed.

    Part of Jehovah Jireh’s wonderful acts is what I discussed yesterday

    To wrap today’s episode, let’s read the whole of  Psalm 8, shall we?

    1. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory on [or above] the heavens.

    2. Out of the mouths of babes and unweaned infants You have established strength because of Your foes, that You might silence the enemy and the avenger.

    3. When I view and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained and established,

    4. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory on [or above] the heavens.

    5. Out of the mouths of babes and unweaned infants You have established strength because of Your foes, that You might silence the enemy and the avenger.

    6. When I view and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained and established,

    7. What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him?

    8. Yet You have made him but a little lower than God [or heavenly beings], and You have crowned him with glory and honor.

    You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet:All sheep and oxen, yes, and the beasts of the field. The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatever passes along the paths of the seas.

    9. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth!

    One of our heritage as a child of God is the name of Jesus.

    A name that is above every other names.

    The only name that saves.

    The I am that I am.

    #GratitudeChallenge – How I enjoyed Heavenly scholarship.

    Don’t be amazed that I said, heaven’s scholarship.

    Does heaven gives scholarship?

    Yes it does and The God of heaven gave me that gift of free education right from grade 1 till I acquired my first degree.

    I am from a middle class family – neither poor or rich but we make ends meet yet God provided for my parents to fund my basic education with NGN600 per term (as at 1996) which is $1 today 😁. A big money then.

    Yahweh Nissi didn’t stop there. His scholarship covered my secondary education on the same tenor of divine provision for 6 good years.

    In addition to that, the heaven’s scholarship also funded my degree education at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso with nothing less than $1,033 over 5 years covering tuition and textbooks.

    Furthermore, the Lord of provision did not just provide the capital for the project, He also provided energy and wisdom for the project.

    I called the funding, Heaven’s scholarship, because no debt was incurred to accomplish it. My parents were indebted as of then but not toward my schooling.

    With all these benefits and many more, I reverence the name of the Lord with this song:

    In case you are wondering what is #GratitudeChallenge? Well, it is a 40-day action plans to appreciate God throughout Lent period and today is day 4 which is dedicated to acknowledge the sustaining grace of God for the vision of this Blog for the past three years.

    Why, the appreciations? I started blogging 10 years ago with blogspot.com but it didn’t fly so I have to abandon it for livejournal.com about 7 years ago. Yet the stats was meagre.

    Then on 20th of December, 2019 i.e., 3 years ago and the stats is commendable. Thank God for the stats but that’s not the main reason for this post.

    The main reason is that Jehovah Nissi is the One providing materials for running this site.

    So therefore, I bless the name of the Almighty God for His sustaining power over this site.

    Brethren, if not that God is blessing me with wisdom, knowledge and skills for writing these articles, who I am?

    Furthermore, this same God bless me with amazing subscribers/followers from all over the world. All power be unto Him for eternity.

    The story of my marriage is simply a product of mercy obtained from God because if not for God’s Divine orchestration, I would have missed this Rarest Gem of mine @vicpraise1010 .

    God gave me a good thing and may His name be praised on high for giving me a suitable helper.

    I honour God’s grace for this girl for she is lovely, godly and make loving her so easily to do.

    Being saved is incredible and having good relationships is great too.

    I won’t underestimate theese gifts of relationships because after my salvation what next is my relationships and God has wonderfully blessed me with amazing ones which have recommended me for jobs, submitted my CV, gave me a wife, encouraged me, visited my blog, read my articles, prayed for me, helped me and corrected me.

    Furthermore, all glory to You for the most amazing gift of all, the woman you gave me as my wife. King of glory, your daughter is indeed a helper, a mother and a wife.

    Thank you, Lord, for my parents because they know You and for using them to train my siblings and I in Your way.

    I will not fail to appreciate Your Holy Name for my mother-in-law. My Lord and King, this woman is truly your daughter.

    Hallelujah to Your Name for my amazing siblings.

    I am still thanking You for my sisters-in-law, for they are not only beautiful but godly.

    I applaud the mightiness of Your Essence for my friends. Oh, Lord! They have been extraordinary!

    If I fail to eulogise You for my pastor, I will be ungrateful.

    What about mentors? You gave them to me so that I can grow to fulfill Thy purpose and counsel for my life.

    Lent is commencing today and it will last for 40 days, I want to show gratitude to Almighty God for what He has been doing for me, What He has done, what He will do and what He will not do in His infinite wisdom.

    Please join me to appreciate our Maker.

    Day 1 starts with utmost gratitude to my Saviour for delivering me from the power of self and sin.

    If not for Jesus, I can just imagine where I would have been but His compassion redeemed me during the first Reinhard Bonnke Crusade to my hometown in 2016.

    Oh what a memorable day for me because from that day onwards the Spirit Himself thestifies that I am a child of God!

    Despite the challenges, God has stood faithful. He has been. Hallelujah!

    I also admire Jehovah for my justification (past salvation), sanctification (present salvation) and my glorification (future salvation). May His name be praised.

    Now, lemme end day 1 with this song

  • Pray for Russia and Ukraine.

    Benjamin Franklin said, ‘there is no good war or bad peace.’

    We pray the that the Lord of peace will end the aggressions and counter-aggressions on both sides as no sides will come out without losing significantly.

    Let there be peace in all the earth. Amen

  • Four things that you should continue to do during difficult times.

    David’s example suggests four things that you should continue to do during difficult times:

    How long will You forget me, O Lord? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
    But I have trusted, leaned on, and been confident in Your mercy and loving-kindness; my heart shall rejoice and be in high spirits in Your salvation.I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.


    Psalm 13:1,5–6 (Amplified Bible)

    1. Keep praying

    David continues to cry out to God, ‘Look on me and answer, O Lord my God. Give light to my eyes’ (v.3). He pours out his heart to God. Don’t give up praying even when God seems far away.

    2. Keep trusting.

    ‘But I trust in your unfailing love’ (v.5a). ‘I’ve thrown myself headlong into your arms’ (v.5a, MSG). It is relatively easy to have faith when things are going well, but the test of faith is when things do not appear to be going well.

    3. Keep rejoicing.

    He does not rejoice in the trials, but in God’s salvation. He says, ‘my heart rejoices in your salvation’ (v.5b). ‘I’m celebrating your rescue’ (v.5b, MSG).

    4. Keep worshipping.

    In spite of everything he has been through, David is able to see the goodness of God: ‘I will sing to the Lord, for he has been good to me’ (v.6). He remembers all that God has done for him.

    As you begin to praise and worship God, it brings perspective to your problems. Sometimes, I find it helpful to look back on my life and thank the Lord for bringing me through so many of my own personal struggles, disappointments and bereavements, and to remember how, through it all, ‘he has been good to me’ (v.6).

    Prayer for the day: Lord, I worship you today. Thank you for your goodness to me. For all the battles ahead, I trust in your unfailing love.
