    God’s Way or Nothing

At Eden, when it was Adam, the animals, the plants, and the water bodies, God saw that, ‘it is not good for the man to be alone, I will make a help suitable for him.’

And he did with the creation of Eve from Adam’s ribs and brought her to the man, therefore creating the First Marriage without leaving them guide-less about the rules and regulations of the newly created institution.

He gave His will, orders, and commands about this beautiful institution.

Without stopping at that, Yahweh, moved His servants throughout history to say His mind about marriage.

And if truly you want to make and enjoy it you have to do God’s way.

It’s either God’s way or nothing. No in-betweens.

Marriage is not a democratic institution where every decision is up for elections, voting, discussions, debates, and other nuances of democracy but it’s a THEOCRACY – a rule by God where His will, orders, and commands reigned supreme under the leadership of a Man helped by His wife to raise a Godly seed.

God decreed that Male and Female He created them and wanted them in marriage. Denying this golden ordinance to follow your lustful passion and calling it what it’s not is just a grand delusion that will yield nothing but pains, regrets, and if not repented eternal damnation

God has instituted the Husband as the head, not because women are inferior to the former but because that’s how He wills. Now, dragging family leadership with your husband is doing it your way which has its own consequences.

God says no sex before marriage. You say no but thinking you can escape the result of your stubbornness. No way!

God wants you to raise godly offspring for Him but you abandon your duty post to chase ephemeral saying God understands. He understands but it is still His or nothing.

That is why it’s better to be single as advised by Jesus and Paul than in disobedience to God.

God will not update His word to suit man’s unending desires. We are the ones who must align our actions and ways to suit His word.

As we do this, may God give us the needed grace to obey Him.

#GratitudeChallenge – Grace found me just as I am.

Today being day 10 of 40, I asked my wife was she is grateful and she mentioned grace.

What is grace? Grace means unmerited favour. In my language, we called it ore ofe meaning free favour.

I can say that I have enjoy grace upon grace even my first girlfriend was named Grace. Lol.

By grace, I was saved not of any work. I don’t even have any work to boast of in the first instance.

By grace, I am alive not because if I am gone, God will cease being God. With or without me, God is.

By grace, I received and receiving many goodies of life from the Almighty for my living and comfortability. After all, I didn’t put any money in fixed account with Him.

Grace upon grace found me just as I am.

His grace didn’t give me what I deserved but what He has purpose to do.

By grace, I am married when I least expected it but grace picked me up and make me sit among the princes and princesses.

God’s grace has been overwhelming and I say all glory, power, honor, adoration, blessing and admiration to You and You alone.

I bless you Holy name for the sustaining grace bestowed upon my household. May your name be exalted.

Let’s conclude this with a song

    Ore ofe sa nigbekele,
    Jesu ku fun araye,
    O ku funmi pelu.

    Grace is my backbone,
    Jesus died for the world,
    He died for me too.

Today’s task for you: reflect on God’s graciousness to you and praise him.
