ENDSARS

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police Force has been accused documentarily of forceful extortion, illegal detention and search (just because you had a funny hairstyle, piercings, tattoes, Iphones or drive expensive rides), outrageous labelling as yahoo boys, forceful confession at gun-point and extra-judicial killing for Nigerian youths.

There seems to be end in sight so we urged Nigerian Government to put a halt to this state-backed killers squad in #EndSARS because many Nigerian youths are not fraudster neither is acquiring luxury a criminal offence.
Furthermore, the activities of SARS lend credence to tribalism as this nonsense has no happenings up North. I had my national service there and I used to travel from my PPA, Gumel to Dutse (Jigawa capital) and Hadejia frequently. Each of those travels is 2 hours each on pot-holelessss and trafficless road yet no single roadblock talkless of bribe-taking and gun-wielding policemen. Also as commonly seen here, you can’t a police see a police going around town with guns. Yet the North has a far worse security challenges than South so therefore we should #EndSARS that kill one brother and pamper the other brother.
But, robbery and criminal activities will increase if we wind down the unit? I think no, youths are not protesting for a non-police state rather a non-killing police unit so the government should #EndSAR, #EndSWAT, #Endbadgovernance, #EndPolicebrutalities and #ReformNigerianPolice with funds, modern training, weapons and godly leadership.
Lastly, may Yahweh comforted those who have been victims of police brutalities.
May He guards the few good ones in the unit.
May He touches the heart of few wicked ones too.
And may peace reigns all over the terrain.
