Welcome to Day 2 of Annual Blogmas. This year’s theme is LIFE IN HIM.
Matthew 3 opens with John the Baptist crying out in the wilderness. His message was simple yet powerful: Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
LIFE IN HIM means preparation.
Before Jesus began His ministry, the hearts of people had to be made ready.
John reminds us that the life God wants to build in us begins with a turning:
— Turning from sin.
— Turning from self.
— Turning toward God.
When Jesus stepped into the water to be baptised, Heaven confirmed Him with love:
“This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Reflection:
Are there areas God is calling you to prepare? LIFE IN HIM begins with a heart open and ready.
