For Better, For Worse – A True Perspective

Recently, a Nigerian bride went viral on Nigerian space when she refused to say , for richer, for poorer, in health and in sickness, with the mind that saying such is confessing negatively on someone’s home.

If I am not married, I would have agreed with the viral bride but experiences say no.
.

For better for worse is not a declaration of woes on your marriage, it’s a declaration of total commitment, till death do you apart, to one another.

It means if I am richer than this, you will be the chosen one and peradventure things turn around for you in that aspect, I will still be with you.

As I am with you when you are hale and healthy, so will I be with you if you body fails you.

Moreover if you said, we need a less coarse words to describe it, I might agree.

And the funniest thing is that this is a reality for every marriage whether you believed it or not but our prayer is always that the days of richer, better and health should be far more than the days of poorer, worse and sickness in Jesus name.
