My first name is Joel.
According to Wikipedia, Joel is a male given name derived from יוֹאֵל Standard Hebrew, Yoʾel, meaning “Yahu is god“, “YHWH is God“, or the modern translation “Yahweh is God”. Joel as a given name appears in the Hebrew Bible.
Significantly, I love this name because God has proved beyond reasonable doubt that He is indeed Yahweh.

What Submission is Not. (3)
In the last post, I addressed the husbands that submission may be anything but it’s not
– for everybody. The only woman that is commanded to submit to you is your wife. Not even your daughter.
– superiority contest. None of you are superior or inferior to one another. Bible called you one, co-heirs and remnant of life.
What will you tell the Lord if you join in sinning all in the name of ‘wife, submit to your husband,’ when Jesus completed it by saying, ‘as unto me?’
– personal lordship and saviourship. You are not the Lord and Saviour of your wife. Jesus is. You didn’t die for her sin. Jesus was.
Now, in this post, I’m telling you, dear husbands, SUBMISSION IS NOT ABSOLUTE and to wives, DO NOT SUBMIT SHEEPISHLY.
Husband, your wife is only permitted to the extent you are submit to
God.
His laws
Godly authorities
And the Church of God.
Because Submission to all those things will make a good husband worthy of being submitted to.
Therefore, if you gamble, abusive, touchy, sinning, cheating and fornicating, she is not allowed to submit to sin. Why? Because Submission entails supporting you and her Lord and Saviour, the Head of the church forbids joining the crowd to do evil and supporting evil.
She is to submit to you as unto the Lord and we know her Lord won’t do evil to her or to anyone.
Dear wife, if he is nudging you to sinning all in the name of Submission, Bible allows you no to submit in that situation. One, you will be personally responsible for every sin you committed.
What will you tell the Lord if you join in sinning all in the name of ‘wife, submit to your husband,’ when Jesus completed it by saying, ‘as unto me?’

What is faith?
I learned something spectacular today at the Men Missionary Union meeting.
Lmaaooo 😀😄😀! I have sworn before that I will never attend one till I am 50 (a story for another day sha).
Back to my story, the theme for the year was taking over territories while today’s topic was faith.
We defined faith as trusting God to do what is right. Not what we wanted or asked but trusting Him that He will do what is right for us at His right time for His right purpose.
It struck a chord in me. Trusting God to do what is right.
Dear friend, I can’t tell you the Almighty will grant everything you asked him but I can assure you, He will do the right thing for you.
He will bring the right man.
He will make the right job materialize for you.
He will provide the right opportunity for your assignment and assistance.
May the grace of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit abides with us now and forever more. Amen.Share this:

What Submission Is Not.(2)
This article target men, married and would-be about the most bastardized word in marriage, submission.
You must have had countless definitions of submission, good and bad ones but among those definitions, submission is not any of these from the biblical worldview.SUBMISSION IS NOT GENERAL.
The only person that is commanded to submit to you is your wife and your wife only. Even your kids are so commanded to submit to you but obey you.
My wife can’t submit to you.
Your brother’s wife is not expected to submit to you.
Your mentee’s partner is off-limits.
The only woman in the world enjoined to submit is your wife. All other women owe you respect, as you also own them in reciprocal.
And don’t force, cajole, ask, or campaign for it. If you do, it became coercion, slavery, and manipulation.
SUBMISSION IS NOT SUPERIORITY.
Bible abundantly made it clear that husband and wife are neither superior nor inferior to themselves. God called them one, co-heirs and remnants of life.
Therefore, husbands and future ones, the scripture commanding submission to you doesn’t say you are better than her. You are not.
The purpose of submission in the family is to institute leadership and orderliness.President Muhammad Buhari is the president of Nigeria but that doesn’t make him a superman and a citizen, less human.
God called them one, co-heirs and remnants of life.
SUBMISSION IS NOT LORDSHIP AND ‘SAVOURSHIP.’Wives are to submit to their husbands as unto the Lord Jesus Christ and marriage is a mirror of the relationship between Christ and the Church.
Who is Christ to the church? Jesus is head, Lord, and Saviour of the Church because it’s he who dies for the Church but fortunately since husbands don’t die for their wives, they are not Lord and Saviour.
You are not Lord and Saviour of your wife. Jesus is provided she is born again.
You didn’t die for her sin. Jesus was the one who did that.
Since you are not her Lord and Saviour, if she thinks that you are doing something that her Lord and Saviour hate hoping that she will join you, she’s bound not to submit to you in that situation or circumstance.
Do you know why? Her Lord and Saviour forbid her from following the crowd to do evil and it’s only her that will stand to give account not you.
Lastly, dear husband loves your wife as Christ loves the Church.

Now, let’s dig into the issue of most controversial word in marriage, Submission. This is a 3-part articles and this part 1 is directed to married women and single ladies.
One of the anti-God teaching gaining ground now which invariably is anti-marriage is teaching of earned submission.
As in a man must do something to earn submission from his wife.
One, the teaching is inconsistent with Bible. Biblical submission is not earned, force or demanded for. It must be freely given by the wife. Note the word Must.If you marry godless man, you will have to submit to his godless decisions
Why? Because God commanded.
That’s why you must do everything godly possible to marry a godly man so that submission can be easily done by you.
If you marry an unkind man, you must submit to his unkind decisions.
If he is idiot. You must submit to his idiotic leadership.
If you marry godless man, you will have to submit to his godless decisions.
The only time you can jettison his idiotic, ungodly and unkind decisions is when they are in clear violation of the scripture.
