As I was writing yesterday’s gratitude post, it dawned on me to appreciate Jehovah for the grace, opportunity and privileges of services on day 11.
You know, many are called but few are chosen and the few of us who responded, He has chosen for the work of service in His vineyard both in worshipping Him and rendering ministerial works to my brothers and sisters in the faith.
As a former Choir member, I am grateful my King for the quarky voice. At least, it ministered praise to Your eternally blessed Name and help in blessing the lives of brothers and sisters you have given me in the church.
For the privileges of ministering as Secretary of our Royal Ambassador group, hallelujah to Your awesomeness.
How do I start with that privilege of preparation as Students’ Fellowship President of my local church, I throw You salutes sir, Ancient of days.
The Fourth Man in the fire, Hallowed be Your Name for opportunity of being General Secretary (Uncle) during my National Youth Service Corps’ (NYSC) year. The lessons learnt in the house of RCCF Gumel, Jigawa State is unforgettable.
Now as a Sunday School Teacher, it was a blessing to be counted worthy to be a teacher to your people. A blessing, I am most grateful for, I AM THAT I AM.
I will never failed to acknowledge Your Divinity for the privileges and grace of ministration I have obtained from fellow brethren.
To summarise your goodness, I dedicated this song of praise by Sinach:
Waymaker, Miracle worker, Promise keeper, Light in the darkness, My God, That is who you are.
Today’s task for you: Do know that God is God with or without you and I?
Today being day 10 of 40, I asked my wife was she is grateful and she mentioned grace.
What is grace? Grace means unmerited favour. In my language, we called it ore ofe meaning free favour.
I can say that I have enjoy grace upon grace even my first girlfriend was named Grace. Lol.
By grace, I was saved not of any work. I don’t even have any work to boast of in the first instance.
By grace, I am alive not because if I am gone, God will cease being God. With or without me, God is.
By grace, I received and receiving many goodies of life from the Almighty for my living and comfortability. After all, I didn’t put any money in fixed account with Him.
Grace upon grace found me just as I am.
His grace didn’t give me what I deserved but what He has purpose to do.
By grace, I am married when I least expected it but grace picked me up and make me sit among the princes and princesses.
God’s grace has been overwhelming and I say all glory, power, honor, adoration, blessing and admiration to You and You alone.
I bless you Holy name for the sustaining grace bestowed upon my household. May your name be exalted.
Let’s conclude this with a song
Ore ofe sa nigbekele, Jesu ku fun araye, O ku funmi pelu.
Grace is my backbone, Jesus died for the world, He died for me too.
Today’stask for you: reflect on God’s graciousness to you and praise him.
Today’s is day 9 of 40 days Gratitude Challenge. If you are reading this episode for the first time, the reason behind this challenge is to appreciate Yahweh for everything He has done, is doing, will do and will not do not because He is powerless to do it because because He knows all, during this Lent.

Now to today’s business. It was said of eagle that each time, it is getting tired and old, it will retreat to a solidary place to hibernate, shed all its feathers and get refreshed. Isn’t it wonderful when Bible said, those that waited on the Lord, their strengths will be renewed, mount high like eagle, run and will not be tired and walk but not be weary.
It is always refreshing to me that God supplies all the energy for each day and He keeps renewing the strength daily.
Isn’t it glorious that sleeping very tired and waking up highly rejuvenated?
Isn’t it awesome when you are not up there spiritually, Holy Spirit is upholding you?
Each day you had disagreement with your spouse, but still your Marriage is Hale and hearty. It is because the Limitless Supplier is giving you and I the strength to carry on loving our spouse daily.
As a result of this, our mouths are satisfied with good things like Psalmist said in Psalms 103:5
Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle's [strong, overcoming, soaring]!
(Amplified Bible)
So we honour the name of the Lord for the daily strength to overcome the life challenges and difficulties. Hallelujah be unto His mightiest name. Amen.
To round up, today’s praise service, I will like to sing this song:
Awa ta duro d'Oluwa, A o tun agbara wa se, A o fiye goke bi idi, A o sare kii yoo rewa, A o rin are kiyo mu wa.
Today’s is day 8 of the 40 day #GratitudeChallenge. I welcome you to today’s episode
Have you ever wondered about the divine provision of God for the many billions of us?
Now, think about how this Sovereign God provides for billions of human, plants, animals and the tinniest microorganisms?
Yet Bible said He cares for me more than He cares for the birds of the sky, the fish of the oceans and the grasses of the fields because Yahweh is a magnificent provider and excellent caterer.
Consider the lilies, how they grow. They neither [wearily] toil nor spin nor weave; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory (his splendor and magnificence) was not arrayed like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you, O you [people] of little faith?
Luke 12:27 – 28 (Amplified Bible).
Yahweh is a magnificent provider and excellent caterer.
God has been providing for me. Physically, I lack nothing good and spiritually there is daily renewal of spiritual strength.
Should I also mentioned the divine provision of my Helpmeet @vicpraise1010 ? It has been God all through.
What about job? Nigeria as a country is a place rift with high number of unemployment but I can say it boldly in the power of the Lord that I haven’t been jobless for a day since I wrote my last paper in the uni.
I haven’t gotten my desired job but still very grateful for the one that is the channel of God’s provision for me while believing Him for a better one.
Knowledge and wisdom is part of Almighty provision which I won’t belittle.
Furthermore, I won’t fail to acknowledge the provision of perfect health and healings as it is needed. By His stripes, I have been healed.
Part of Jehovah Jireh’s wonderful acts is what I discussed yesterday

1. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory on [or above] the heavens.
2. Out of the mouths of babes and unweaned infants You have established strength because of Your foes, that You might silence the enemy and the avenger.
3. When I view and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained and established,

Today’s task for you: Mention one instance of divine provision for your life?
Let’s start day 7 of #GratitudeChallenge with a Hillsong; What a wonderful name is Jesus!
Verse 1 You were the Word at the beginning One with God the Lord Most High Your hidden glory in creation Now revealed in You our Christ
Chorus What a wonderful Name it is What a wonderful Name it is The Name of Jesus Christ my King What a wonderful Name it is Nothing compares to this What a wonderful Name it is The Name of Jesus What a wonderful Name it is The Name of Jesus
Verse 2 You didn’t want heaven without us So Jesus You brought heaven down My sin was great Your love was greater What could separate us now
Bridge Death could not hold You The veil tore before You You silence the boast of sin and grave The heavens are roaring The praise of Your glory For You are raised to life againYou have no rival You have no equal Now and forever God You reign Yours is the kingdom Yours is the glory Yours is the Name above all names
Chorus 3 What a powerful Name it is What a powerful Name it is The Name of Jesus Christ my King What a powerful Name it is Nothing can stand against What a powerful Name it is The Name of JesusTags What a powerful Name it is The Name of Jesus What a powerful Name it is The Name of Jesus
One of our heritage as a child of God is the name of Jesus.
A name that is above every other names.
The only name that saves.
The I am that I am.
The Ancient name.
What a wonderful name is Jesus!
What a power name it is!
Nothing compares to it!
His name is Jesus.
His name is Yahweh!
All glory to God for the privilege to use this awesome name that works.
I am grateful for the wonders of the Name that saves.
Today’s task for you: Name 5 names of Jesus that you can utilize to appreciate Him.
Don’t be amazed that I said, heaven’s scholarship.
Does heaven gives scholarship?
Yes it does and The God of heaven gave me that gift of free education right from grade 1 till I acquired my first degree.
I am from a middle class family – neither poor or rich but we make ends meet yet God provided for my parents to fund my basic education with NGN600 per term (as at 1996) which is $1 today 😁. A big money then.
Yahweh Nissi didn’t stop there. His scholarship covered my secondary education on the same tenor of divine provision for 6 good years.
In addition to that, the heaven’s scholarship also funded my degree education at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso with nothing less than $1,033 over 5 years covering tuition and textbooks.
Furthermore, the Lord of provision did not just provide the capital for the project, He also provided energy and wisdom for the project.
I called the funding, Heaven’s scholarship, because no debt was incurred to accomplish it. My parents were indebted as of then but not toward my schooling.
With all these benefits and many more, I reverence the name of the Lord with this song:
Yahweh, Your name is Yahweh, You are the miracle working God, Your name is Yahweh.
Today’s task for you: what is the name of the university you attend or is attending?
In the midst of appreciating God for all His wondrous works, I decided to teach you how to make Ekuru.
Actually, Ekuru (a Nigerian food common with the Yoruba) is made with beans and followed the same steps as moin moin making but with a slight difference.
The steps to be followed in making Ekuru are highlighted in this video. Watch, like, subscribe and comment https://youtu.be/mgt2lwX-qVg.

In case you are wondering what is #GratitudeChallenge? Well, it is a 40-day action plans to appreciate God throughout Lent period and today is day 4 which is dedicated to acknowledge the sustaining grace of God for the vision of this Blog for the past three years.
Why, the appreciations? I started blogging 10 years ago with blogspot.com but it didn’t fly so I have to abandon it for livejournal.com about 7 years ago. Yet the stats was meagre.
Then on 20th of December, 2019 i.e., 3 years ago and the stats is commendable. Thank God for the stats but that’s not the main reason for this post.
The main reason is that Jehovah Nissi is the One providing materials for running this site.
So therefore, I bless the name of the Almighty God for His sustaining power over this site.
Brethren, if not that God is blessing me with wisdom, knowledge and skills for writing these articles, who I am?
Furthermore, this same God bless me with amazing subscribers/followers from all over the world. All power be unto Him for eternity.
Now Sing this song of praise with me this wrap today’s episode:
From North to South, There is no other God, From east to west, I say there is no other God.
Today’s task for you: which vision of yours did you think if not for God, it can’t be successful?
